Merrill Lynch Funds' Sales Practices Under Investigation

NEW YORK (AFX) - Merrill Lynch & Co Inc's sales practices have been placed under investigation by law firm Klayman , Lazarus & Toskes, it said, on behalf of the bank's customers who purchased the Merrill Lynch Focus Twenty and Premier Growth Funds.

The investigation will focus on the sales practices used by Merrill Lynch's stockbroker/financial advisor in marketing this investment to their customers, the law firm said in a statement.
